Manila has a Class II landfill. The landfill is open each Monday from 9:00 A.M. to noon and Saturdays from 9:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. During the winter (November 1st to April 1st) the landfill is open on the first Saturday of the month and every Monday.
All dumping will be charged at the following rates:
- Pickup load $10.00
- Small trailer load (4×8 or smaller) $10.00
- Large trailer (i.e. horse trailer) $15.00
- Truck and large trailer $20.00
Pre-paid Landfill Cards: The Town is now selling pre-paid landfill use cards. They are $50 a piece and can be picked up at the Town Office.
Curbside: Manila does offer curbside garbage pickup to Manila residences. There is a small fee charged for this service. Non-residents will be responsible for their garbage or may contact the town hall for other options if needed.
Enclosed Garbage Bins: We want to remind everyone the town will enforce resolution 11-09-18 stating that residents shall have a proper container with a secure lid to store garbage in. Residents who do not have garbage stored in a proper container beginning April 1st, 2019 will be charged an additional $5.00 for each pickup.
