REMINDER: OUR WINTER HOURS WILL START NOVEMBER 1ST, 2024.
New hours start Friday, November 1st, 2024: EVERY MONDAY (we are still working on times), and EVERY first SATURDAY of the month 9:00 AM-12:00 PM (weather permitting). Please call the office at 435-784-3143 or Public Works at 435-778-0038.
If there are water or sewer issues, the landfill will be closed.

NEW LANDFILL SIGNS!!
When heading to the landfill please look for our sign. We are excited to announce that our new open/closed sign will be posted on the west side of HWY 44, just south of Browning’s, as you head south on the road out of town. All dumping will be charged at the following rates:
- Pickup load $20.00
- Greens ONLY $10.00/Load
- Large trailer (i.e. horse trailer) $40.00/ton
- Truck and large trailer $40.00/ton
- Unsecured loads $100.00 + dump fee
- Dump Truck/Garbage Truck/Construction Truck $80.00/ton
- All contaminated soil, asphalt, concrete, special waste will be handled on a case-by-case basis.
Pre-paid Landfill Cards: The Town is now selling pre-paid landfill use cards. They are $50 a piece and can be picked up at the Town Office.
Curbside: Manila does offer curbside garbage pickup to Manila residences. There is an $18 charge for this service. Non-residents will be responsible for their garbage or may contact the town hall for other options if needed.
Enclosed Garbage Bins: We want to remind everyone the town will enforce resolution 11-09-18 stating that residents shall have a proper container with a secure lid to store garbage in. Residents who do not have garbage stored in a proper container beginning April 1st, 2019 will be charged an additional $5.00 for each pickup.
